Welcome Evening

All congress participants are cordially invited to take part in the Welcome evening which will be held at congress venue in the exhibition area. The evening is conceived as informal opportunity to greet colleagues. Light cocktail refreshment will be served.

Congress dinner at Plzeňská Restaurant in Municipal House

Tuesday, 8 November, 19:30–22:30

Address: Municipal House, Náměstí Republiky 5, Prague 1
Dress code: smart casual

Gala dinner will take place in the original Pilsner restaurant situated in the basement of the Municipal House, famous Art Nouveau building in the very city centre of Prague. The Municipal House was built at the place of the former Royal Court in 1912 to celebrate the Czech nation. It is a representative building which for its splendour and beautiful decorations is one of the jewels of Prague architecture. Participants will have possibility to enjoy traditional Czech cuisine.

Transfer: will not be provided, the Municipal House is easily accessible by public transportation, congress secretariat staff will be happy to explain the journey.

The Municipal House is situated on “Náměstí Republiky“ metro station, direct line from “Vysočanská“ metro station. In the metro please follow exit signs “Náměstí Republiky“ and “Obecní dům“. The Municipal House is just few steps from the metro. The journey from the venue to the restaurant will take approximately 25 minutes.

Guided tour of Prague

Monday, 7 November, 17:00–21:00

The tour starts and ends at Clarion Congress Hotel Prague with English speaking guide. Bus transfer will be provided.

The insightful historical tour lets you enjoy the beautiful sights and views. You will have an opportunity to see Prague Castle (Hradčany), registered as the biggest castle complex in the world. It established itself as the spiritual centre of the Bohemian sovereigns from 9th century and since 1918 (foundation of Czechoslovakia) it has served as the residence of presidents. The tour starts at the Lesser Quarter, than you will cross the famous Charles Bridge and continue to discover remarkable monuments in the Old Town area.
